Although Bleach follows the typical action anime archtype of the stupid/brash/loud/obnoxious main hero with crazy hair and some amazing hidden power (Ichigo/Naruto/Goku/Mugen) and his condescending and seemingly superior, calm and collected rival with some sort of bloodline/training that makes him seem the better fighter (Ishida/Sasuke/Vegeta/Jin), its a very entertaining and exciting anime, one of the best action animes out there.

Kubo Tite's supernatural manga/anime is really easy to get into, and some of the characters are just great.

i noticed that too. i also noticed that the main character's color (being clothes or hair) is mainly red or orange, while the secondary character's color is mainly blue.

Its just the archtype of associative colors reflecting mood/personality.

Bright colors like red/orange denote fire, energy, enthusiam.

Dark colors like black/blue denote calm, serene (perhaps emo).

Its quite sad, but you can break down most anime/manga into the various archtypes, since they work.

I stopped watching the subs two episodes into the Bount Arc. It sucks.

The predictability of shounen anime like this is actually a draw for me. It's safe, mostly unchallenging entertainment that nevertheless the potential for profundity.

I don't like dubs, they take away from the original personalities and emotions of the characters. That wouldn't be a problem if the replacement wasn't so dumbed down (A few dubs however are of greater merit than subs).

The Bount Arc was decent, if you want bad filler go watch Naruto. But the filler is over for Bleach and all is right in the world.

All a matter of taste I guess, though I do agree that Naruto fillers were worse. They're almost over too (for real this time) so all really is right with the world

Episode 110 is freakin amasing. It's just crazy the stuff we're gonna be seeing in this arc.

Last anime series I finished was either Please! Twins or Chromartie High School.

I saw one or maybe two episodes of bleach, but that's it. Wasn't that impressed with what I saw and have been looking for something new to watch.

Try Ergo Proxy and Gankutsuou. God knows you need it after Onegai Twins.
